Full 5052 Aluminum Case with Impact Bearing Ridges The core structure of the case is constructed from aviation-grade 5052 aluminum, a non-heat treatable aluminum alloy that can bear a weight load comparable to steel alloys. Over 50,000 tons of hydraulic pressure is used to bend and corrugate the aluminum sheets. 5052 aluminum is used in the construction of planes due to its durability, load-carrying capabilities and corrosion resistance. Reinforced A380 Aluminum Corners The load-taking corners of the travel case are reinforced with die cast A380 aluminum. These heavy duty corners are bucked into the core structure of the case with SAE 304 Stainless Steel Rivets. SAE 304 Stainless Steel Rivets Dozens of SAE 304 Stainless Steel Rivets are individually bucked to hold together the corners, the body and the extruded 6063 aluminum frame of the case. Each rivet can take over 27,000 pounds of weight per square inch. Italian Full-Grain Leather Handles The top and side handles of the case are from full-grain Italian leather, handcrafted from leather by an independent tannery, based out of the small town of Chiampo in the Italian region of Veneto. As the most durable grade of leather used in long-lasting upholstery, Italian aniline full-grain leather develops a natural patina over time as opposed to wearing out. It contains the entire grain layer of the cowhide with its natural imperfections and marks. Dual Thru Axle Wheels The case has two 2.5-inch recessed wheels, built to withstand excessive wear and tear. The wheels sit into the body of the case to be able to take higher forces of impact Retractable Full-Aluminum Trolley & Housing Manufactured from aviation-grade aluminum, the trolley bar retracts into an aluminum housing. The high-fatigue strength of the trolley prevents it from bucking or compressing. The top handle bar of the trolley is wrapped in Italian full-grain leather. Double Combination Latch Locks

The 2019 Mustang mostly carries over from 2018, with a few trick additions: standard rev-matching on manual-equipped GT’s, optional Active Valve exhaust now available on 4-cylinder equipped models, and a new Bullitt special edition with power and performance gains over the regular GT.

What's not:

• Price tag easily exceeds $50K, particularly at well-equipped GT and Bullitt trims—that’s a lot for a Mustang.
• Sync 3 interface is advanced, but can at times be overly complicated for what should be basic functions.

A lot has changed in San Francisco since Bullitt’s day. The famous switchbacks of Lombard street are now bursting with well-groomed hydrangeas, and those steep city streets whose abruptly-planed intersections ramped stunt cars into the air during the film’s iconic chase are tamed down with four-way stops at every corner. The gritty, slightly feral San Francisco of the 1968 movie has evolved in real life into something more sanitized and civilized. Fifty years after Bullitt’s debut, its namesake Mustang is more civilized too.

The Mulsanne is aimed at buyers looking for a driver's car at the extreme end of the automotive spectrum, a place usually reserved for exotics and chauffeur-driven luxury cars. With its high-end luxury and excellent overall performance, the Mulsanne is right at home among the narrow ultra-luxury category that also includes offerings from Mercedes-Benz and Rolls-Royce.

Model overview:

The Mulsanne is Bentley's flagship sedan. With a wheelbase of 128.6 inches and an overall length of 219.5 inches, the Mulsanne offers a significant amount of interior and capacious trunk space.

The front end is dominated by the marque's trademark mesh grille, as well as two large round headlamps and LED daytime running lights mounted lower. It has a long nose and short deck and a retractable Bentley mascot is optional. Buyers have their choice of more than 130 standard exterior colors and 24 interior leather trim colors.

The Mulsanne features a V8 engine with twin-turbocharging and produces 512 horsepower and an impressive 752 ft-lb of torque. Cylinder deactivation technology helps the monster engine deliver 16 mpg on the highway or 10 mpg in the city. The engine is paired with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission controlled with paddle shifters. And although the Mulsanne is relatively heavy at 5,919 pounds, the powerplant offers 0-60 mph times of under 5.5 seconds.

The Bentley Mulsanne comes full of standard equipment including dual power remote mirrors with tilt function, heated front and rear seating, electrically adjustable front and rear seating with memory, leather seating, multi-zone climate control with separate rear controls, 14 speaker, 8-inch touchscreen, voice-activated navigation and audio, Apple CarPlay, remote keyless entry with push button start, front and rear parking sensors and adjustable iPad/picnic tables.

Mulsanne Speed models come with the same engine tuned to make 537 horsepower and 811 lb-feet of torque and the wheels are upgraded to 21 forged alloy wheels.

The Mulsanne is still a hand-built Bentley from Crewe and its interior is top-notch, with high-end leather and wood surfaces used throughout. Bentley says the interior takes 165 hours to assemble, with the heated steering wheel cover taking nearly five hours to complete by hand.

A host of airbags are standard, including front units and dual side airbags for both front and rear passengers. Four-wheel anti-lock brakes are also part of the package, as well as traction control, stability control, blind spot warning, forward collision mitigation, tire pressure monitors and braking assist.

Options are extensive. The Entertainment Specification includes a high-end NAIM audio system, on-board Wi-Fi, DVD player and wireless headphones. The Mulliner Driving Specification includes special trimmed vents, quilted door panels, sport-tuned suspension, drilled alloy pedals and 21-inch alloy wheels. The Mulsanne can be customized with a wide variety of wood veneers, personalized embroidery and curtains.
